Intumescent Glass

Due to the incorporation of indicator lights and infrared control on new actuators and other processing equipment, Thermal Designs® has tested and approved an intumescent glass which will continue to provide visibility and infrared control while maintaining the fireproofing integrity. The intumescent glass is molded into our K-Mass® fireproof coating over the existing glass on processing equipment. Intumescent glass is also used for indicator lights on fireproof cabinets where visibility is required.

Actuator lense

Thermal Designs incorporates intumescent glass to protect the actuator lense while maintaining visibility and infrared contol.
